A Brazilian woman was charged with attempted murder after she hacked off her husband’s penis off last week after he allegedly slept with her 15-year-old niece in Brazil’s Atibaia.

The woman first lured her 39-year-old husband into bed and bound his wrists and ankles and then pulled out a razor and dismembered him. Reports by the New York Post and the Daily Mail said that she took the body part, clicked its picture and then flushed it down the toilet.

“Good evening, officer, I came to introduce myself, because I just cut off my husband’s penis,” she allegedly told officers, according to the Daily Mail. She told the cops that she heard somewhere that it was “possible to reattach it”. The man is hospitalised and his condition is unknown.

The police are probing the woman’s claims that he was sleeping with her 15-year-old niece. The age of consent in Brazil is 14.

An Indonesian woman earlier this year chopped off her boyfriend’s penis after he threatened to leak their sex tapes after she refused to sleep with him. The woman attacked him as he was readying to take a shower and then rushed to the receptionist of the hotel where she and the man were staying to ask for medical assistance.

In 2021, a similar case shook Brazil, when a woman from Sao Goncalo region killed her husband before cutting off his penis and frying it. Dayane Cristina Rodrigues Machado killed her boyfriend Andre, cut off his penis and cooked it in soybean oil in a frying pan.
